April ‘22 Newsletter

As I advised in last month’s newsletter, I hosted a summit in March with a ton of experts to help people write, publish and prosper from a business book.  I now appreciate what people meant when they told me it would be a lot of work.  24 speakers over 3 8-hour days, with fantastic presentations on all the topics that business owners and professionals need to know to write, publish and leverage their book.  The summit went really well, fortunately.  Attendees raved about the terrific speakers and content.  You can read more about the summit below.

1. Summit Access

“Thanks for this great summit. Very grateful to all the phenomenal speakers for all the golden nuggets.”

“Great speakers! Valuable info!”

“Outstanding experience. A billion thanks.”

“This has been nothing but God for me. So thankful to have been invited. A wealth a knowledge.”

These are just a few of the many comments that attendees of the Book It Summit put in the chat.

The Summit is now over, but if you missed it, there is still time to get the recordings and a host of valuable gifts by purchasing one of the VIP packages.   No matter where you are in the book writing journey, you’ll find some awesome resources to help you succeed with your book.

  • If you are in the early stage of writing a book, you’ll get easy-to-follow step-by-step systems and tactics to enable you to get your book done faster and with less frustration — so important for busy CEOs and professionals. You’ll also get a process for carving out the time to get your book written, tips on how to persuade with a story, a course on how to make money from your book before it’s even published, and so much more.
  • If your manuscript is done and you’re heading into the publishing stage, you’ll get expert advice on exactly what you need to do (and what not to do) at each stage of the publishing process, and six-figure success secrets of Amazon.  There’s even an electronic rolodex of people you can contact to help you get your book published.
  • If your book is already published, you’ll be better equipped to leverage your book, with resources on getting speaking engagements — even 240 speaker leads (!), resources on getting publicity, content licensing to corporations and universities and other strategies for leveraging your book.

Each of the VIP packages includes the recordings of all the presentations, which will allow you to:

  • Watch the presentations at your leisure, as well as have the ability to pause or rewind so you can take notes.
  • Receive each of the valuable gifts offered by the speakers, including a book writing blueprint, publicity action guide, 240 speaker leads, and so much more.
  • Gain exclusive access to valuable free bonus courses, events, and trainings that are available ONLY to those who purchase one of these packages (the Ultimate VIP Package is the best value, with resources worth over $8,000).

4. In The News

Earlier this month, I was a guest on Virginia Parsons’ podcast, Inspirational Business Women Show.  During that episode, I explained how to determine what to write about, how to carve out the time to write a book, and how to apply author success habits.  You can access the replay here.

Virginia has some terrific guests on her podcast.  Check out her channel at https://inspirationalbusinesswomen.tv/

5. Tip of the Month: Book Descriptions

One of the speakers on the Book It Summit suggested a powerful hack for book descriptions.  Find a well known author in the genre that your book is in, and include in the description “Fans of [author’s name and book title name] will love [title of your book].”  That does 2 things:  if anyone is searching on the name or title of the book you are referring to, they’ll find your book; and those that enjoyed the other book may purchase your book.

The summit was full of amazing advice for authors.  As noted above, the recordings of all the sessions are available, together with a ton of valuable resources.  Click here to view the VIP Packages from the summit.
