Book It! Course FAQs

Is the Book It! course right for me? We’ve listed some of the most commonly asked questions below to help you decide if this course is right for you. This course isn’t for everyone so we want to make sure you get all the information to make the best decision for you.

When does the course start? Will I have time for it?

We know you are busy.

That’s why we made this course a home study course. You can fit it in whenever you have some time. You don’t have to worry about keeping to any particular schedule, or missing a class, or falling behind. You have access to the course 24×7. You go through the course at your own pace. When you log in, you can start where you left off, or go back to a prior section or jump to any section you want to learn about.

How much time will I need to dedicate to this course?

While there is not an allotted amount of time, we recommend that you do the exercises while you are taking the course. After all, the more you put into this course, the more you will get out of it.

Some other factors that may impact your time commitment:

  • How much of the foundation for your book you have already developed;
  • How much content you already have on your topic (e.g., articles, presentations, blog posts);
  • How much of your book you already have written;
  • Whether you complete the worksheets or exercises;
  • How much time you spend each time you log into the course, and how often you log in.

What if I don’t have a book idea yet? Will the course help me develop an idea?

While most of our students have a book idea or concept in mind, this course has a whole segment that provides you with a process for honing your message and getting clear on the best topic for your book to help you achieve your objectives.

I’m almost done with my book or I already finished my book. Will this course help me?

This course is set-up primarily to help you write your book. Even if you have completed your book, however, you could benefit from the course by making sure you have written the best book to help you achieve your objectives. We do have a second course, called Publish It! How to Publish, Promote and Leverage Your Book, which focuses on the steps to get your book ready for publication, how to get your book on Amazon, and how to promote and leverage your book. If you’d like more information on that course, send an email to info@skillbites.net or call us at 855-SKILLBITES.

Is this course strictly for short business books?

No! While this course was designed principally for business owners and professionals seeking to write a book to gain greater credibility and visibility and obtain more prospects, the course is helpful for anyone seeking to write a non-fiction book of any length. For authors who are looking to use their books to generate leads for their business, we recommend writing one or more short books because they can be narrowly targeted at your ideal prospects and their needs. They are also quicker to write, less expensive to publish and easier for readers to read.

What if I don’t like the course? Is it refundable?

Yes. We are fully committed to helping you write your book. You can test the program for 30 days and if you feel it is not for you, we’ll gladly refund your registration fee.

Note: To be eligible for the refund, you must show that you took action. You must complete the course, take the various course quizzes and do the exercises in the workbook. The action in this program is what gets results. But if you do the work and don’t feel you’ve gotten the value you paid, we would be happy to refund 100% of your money.
